Example #1 – Colorado Mountain Home Design
This Colorado Mountain Home was completely designed by Decorating Solutions, Inc (DSI). The architecture of the home, interior structure and interior design was all created by DSI.
Example #2 – Colonial Home
This Colonial home which was getting a make-over included some simple cost-effective exterior improvements that took the home from some old dull colors to a cleaner look with the simple improvements of paint! The siding was repainted to give the house a nice clean look of being “new” and the trim work, including the shutters, were painted white instead of the old pinkish look. A wreath was hung in the doorway, new colorful planters placed on the landing and the door was also painted to stand out (the door was actually open in this picture and can’t be seen).
Example #3 – Mountain Home
The exterior to this home was improved with river rock surfacing on specific portions of the exterior that helped to accentuate the mountain look, but installed on strategic locations to emphasis the style but keep cost down. The entryway was accented with glass windows on either side of the front door and these were engraved with pine trees to provide a beautiful appearance and to also help provide some privacy at the doorway. A common accent point for a home is to paint the front door a unique color that still compliments the style and theme of the home. This is a cost effective change that can really improve the appearance. For this house the door was painted green to stand out, but still fit the surrounds. Other improvements included lighting around the front of the house which included rustic sconces, a rustic house number, landscape lighting and during the winter months the roof peaks were outlined in icicle lights and the entryway pillars wrapped in garland.
