This page displays dining room redesigns made in three different homes that were completely different themes – one was a Colonial style home, one a rustic mountain home and one a tropics style home.
Example #1 – Colonial Style Home
This Colonial home actually had an old 70′s style going on with tacky colors and mirrors (see the image on the left). This was replaced with a more sophisticated color theme, mirrors removed from the wall, a colonial style light fixture and furniture to fit a colonial style home.
Example #2 – Tropics Style Home
In this example the dining room was too plain, lacking character and old style instead of being in sync with the tropic theme. The new design brings in natural woods, tropical plants and pictures of palm trees, gold drapes that hang straight down instead of being drawn to the side and a new chandelier to bring a sophisticated look to the formal dining room.
Example #3 – Rustic Mountian Home
These images show the design work to make this dining room sophisticated, yet rustic at the same time. An impressive area to entertain guests. It uses beautiful wood furniture pieces, tied together with the rustic style of the chandelier, candle fixtures and pictures.
